Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!

And so it begins…I just love those words, don’t you? It makes me feel like I am in store for a great adventure, or at the very least, an excuse to do something besides work.

D.W. and I are really excited for the release of our first novel, NECROMANCERS’ PRIDE – QUEST FOR ELDERSTONE. Look for it in January 2014. We both tried as hard as we could to ignore those pesky voices in our heads, but they never stay silent for long. So, after talking to them for awhile, we started writing and created the world of Tarune.

As I am writing this, it is D.W.’s pesky voice that I am hearing. Right now, I wish he would stay silent for awhile, but he is even worse than the voices. Nag, nag, nag. Oh, well, that is the problem with having a writing partner. They always seem to have stuff to say. I always have stuff to say, too. It is funny how my voice just doesn’t seem to sound as pesky as his.

We both love reading stories of worlds that feel fully developed and multi-dimensional. As we write, D.W. and I always ask ourselves, “Well, what’s around that corner. What is going on that the reader cannot see?” We feel like the best stories are the ones that have fleshed out their respective worlds, where you can tell that there is more life than just what is on the page. Well, to that end, we want to use this site as a roadmap to the rest of our world.

Here, you can find excerpts that did not make the novel, as well as descriptions of places and events that we just did not have the space for in the book. We have worked hard to craft a very real world for you to enjoy. We want you to interact with us. I feel like an old man in a new suit as I write this (though not as old as D.W.). It feels nice, but I still need to get used to it. So, I want to reach out to everyone to interact with us here.
