Does anyone remember bookstores?
We certainly do. Wonderful places, bookstores. People actually had to go to them to get … wait for it … books! Can you believe it? Yes, it is true. At one time, the only device on which you could read a book was A BOOK. The only place where you could get said device was the now endangered species known as the BOOKSTORE.
We just wanted to take a moment to honor the bookstore and its noble progeny, the books themselves. They enraptured us with their stories and made us fall in love with the craft of writing. As we work on book 3 of the Necromancers’ Pride Saga – Storm of Shadows, we never forget our inspiration. I can recall countless hours of my youth spent wandering up and down the vast aisles, looking at shelf after shelf of literature.
So enjoy your device of choice, but never forget where it all began … at the noble bookstore.
