The Seven Mystical Wonders of Tarune: The Connector

Hello Everyone! Happy Friday!

Today a simple, concise blog about a magical wonder: The Connector.

DISCLAIMER: Me + Fantasy blog = Fictional story. This is not an actual part of Necromancers Pride lore, but I think it would be cool if it were.

The Connector is a temple located in Duntheir, Principality of Vost that is said to be the direct, non-body connection to the mystical over-world plain known as the Median. An Oracle who was exploring the Known Kingdoms decided to meditate in the exact location of The Connector. When he awoke from meditation, he told his Oracle brethren that he discovered a physical body of energy that would teleport them to the Median. Prior to the Apocalypse of the Mourning Night, Oracles would congregate to the temple and conduct magical rituals. The Connector served to bring the Oracles to a greater degree of understanding of their magics. The Oracles impressive magical rituals astonished the citizens of Duntheir, moving them to assist the Magi by donating supplies to keep the temple operational.

After the Apocalypse of the Mourning Night, the Oracles never used the temple again. Blamed by most for the apocalypse, the remaining few retreated into the shadows. Now, The Connector stands cold and silent. Adventurers from all of the Known Kingdoms travel to the site to learn more about Oracle culture and their interpretations on the magics.

Once a temple that would see daily magical action, now a tourist attraction.
